We did this session with our good friends, Hannah and Marcus Miller to practice some different nighttime flash techniques – which is essential to know for night time weddings. Hannah and Marcus were great models and stood out in the cold for us while we blinded them repeatedly. I’m so grateful for friends that can make practice lots of fun – and for the beautiful photos we came away with!

Evan and I spent a week down in his hometown of Metter, GA over Christmas break and while we were there we got the opportunity to spend the day with the Tomazin family! Roy and Deborah have been so sweet to us and we had so much fun getting to know their son Ross, his wife, Maribeth, and their adorable children.

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is the chance to be surrounded by families. I was delighted by the opportunity to do a session for a family in my own hometown of Conyers, GA last week before Christmas. Thanks, Jacksons, for being so warm and welcoming to us!

Tis the season to be jolly – and to be engaged. Those between the ages of 19 and 30 can prepare to have their newsfeeds flooded with pictures of rings and “I SAID YES”. But, many of you are waiting anxiously for him to pop the question or know a friend who is. This post is for you!

Evan and I are SO excited to publish our first ever proposal shoot as We Two! Mark Willard is an old friend of mine from high school and a fellow videographer and it was such a pleasure to capture this sweet moment as he asked the love of his life, Emily Ruzbacki, to spend forever with him. She said “yes” and was, to our delight, completely surprised!! 

Caitlin Royster and Hunter Strickland are getting married in December and we had a blast hanging out in downtown Athens and North Campus of UGA. They are one of the most goofy and fun couples we’ve worked with and I can’t wait to capture their Christmas wedding very soon!

Rachel and Mike are getting married in June in Valdosta – we practiced for their wedding by taking their engagement session in the heat of the Georgia summer. They were such troopers and so beautiful!

We had a blast shooting engagement photos for Elizabeth and Kyle on North Campus! The two history buffs who’s relationship developed and culminated in a romantic proposal in front of LeConte Hall were so cute and sweet. 

Laura was my dance coach in high school and one of my biggest encouragers throughout college. She and Nic got married in May and decided to have the reception in June. Unfortunately, their photographer got sick the weekend of their reception and we were blessed to fill in for them!
