Rachel and Jacob had a stunning Southern wedding in Millen, Georgia. Their venue, Quinney Oaks Plantation, looked like something out of Southern Living magazine. There was a sprawling oak tree adorned with lights and brick walls with vines climbing up everywhere you turned.
The couple wove several sentimental details into their wedding, to honor their past and future family. Rachel tied her grandmother’s engagement ring around her bouquet, to keep her close to her heart throughout the day, along with her mother’s garter. And the wooden cross they said their vows by was built by her granddaddy out of wood from an old barn on her family’s land. To create new family traditions, Rachel and Jacob had a bible engraved and asked guests to highlight meaningful verses.
Rachel and Jacob’s faith and love for friends and family was so evident throughout the rehearsal and wedding day, and we are so glad they were able to celebrate with them!
