I had a wonderful time photographing Sheila and Michael in downtown Atlanta! We started out in Piedmont Park and I was a bit worried about the weather. Normally I reschedule sessions if the forecast shows rain, but it hadn’t all day. When I arrived at the park, though, the sky seemed to be getting darker by the second and it looked like it was 8 pm, even though it was only 6:30! As I feared, it did rain a bit, so we ducked under the trees while the shower passed, and then the sun came out for a beautiful session!
Sheila and Michael were a lot of fun and had great ideas of their own throughout the shoot. I love when couples get creative with me! After Piedmont Park, we drove over to Westside Provisions for the end of the session. We hoped to take some cute ice cream pictures at Jeni’s, but the line was wrapped around the building, so we wandered around the cute little shops and found some really nice backdrops! I always enjoy getting out of my nature-element and playing with a more urban setting – especially when my clients are laid-back and willing to try anything!
I can’t wait for Sheila and Michael’s wedding in just two short months! It will be here before we know it!
