Makenzie and Keith got married at one of me and Evan’s favorite date spots – Chateau Elan. We knew it was going to be an amazing weekend at the winery that we so often escape to for fun. It was indeed beautiful and fun, but we were not expecting to leave feeling so encouraged and inspired by the faith and love shown by this couple and their families!
We were lucky enough to capture the rehearsal dinner, which took place in the basement of the winery. It was such a cool setting filled with wine barrels and dim mood lighting. I always say that I love hearing rehearsal speeches because that is where you truly get to know a couple – from the words shared by their closest family and friends. Makenzie and Keith had SO many kind and inspiring words spoken about them as individuals and as a couple! The whole room was laughing and crying all night and we went to our hotel room even more happy to be there.
The entire day was so beautiful and we enjoyed spending time with all of the sweet family, friends, and vendors they chose to gather together for the weekend. Their love for their people and Jesus was so evident and Makenzie was stunning – despite the Georgia heat! We had so much fun chasing the sunset through the vineyards with them.
Their reception was one of the best parties ever, with delicious food, an open bar, and the best wedding band we’ve ever seen (and we’ve seen a lot!) Azizz Band had us dancing along with everyone as we worked and I have to admit we were a little sad when it was all over!
Congratulations, Makenzie and Keith, thank you for letting us capture this beautiful weekend!
