Beth and Andrew came to us at the referral of Beth’s parents, Joel and Betsy. Her parents are frequent travelers with my dad’s company, Huck’s Tours, and I think it’s so fun that we were able to serve a family from my dad’s business! I’m so grateful they came to us, because we loved getting to know Beth and Andrew and they had a perfect Downtown Athens wedding!
Their wedding was the perfect blend of classic elegance and rustic charm, and there were so many fun and unique elements to their day! It began in a beautiful bridal suite, which was the perfect backdrop for all of Beth’s blue details. I was not surprised that Beth had such perfectly curated bridal pieces – she works for Kendra Scott and looked so elegant at her engagement session last year.
First Presbyterian Church of Athens, the gorgeous downtown church with the perfect white and gray walls was a “neutral heaven” for a photographer like me and made for such pretty pictures. Andrew arrived after getting ready at The Graduate and they had one of the sweetest, teariest first looks we’ve ever captured! I just love that couples get to have private moments to themselves to really sit in all the joyful emotions together before the craziness of the wedding.
After their classic church ceremony, the party moved to the Melting Point at The Foundry – a quintessential Athens point of interest. This venue was full of rustic charm, fantastic music and food – the perfect Classic City atmosphere. I particularly loved that Beth and Andrew had an artist painting the scene of their first dance! The band had the dance floor crowded all night, and the party was still raging on when we left!
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Forrester – thank you for trusting us to capture this amazing day!
