We have been looking forward to Leah and Casey’s wedding at Grant Hill Farm for well over a year now! Ever since we first met this sweet couple in a coffee shop and learned their story, we have fallen in love with them. They met at a New Year’s Eve party at a mutual friend’s house. They both almost cancelled plans to go to, but fate brought them together and they hit it off right away. And if you’re wondering…yes, they did share their first kiss at midnight that night! (See their engagement session here!)
We loved getting to hang out with them and their friends on their wedding day. This couple is so laid back and easy-going, so the whole day was so fun and relaxed. Leah’s girls were so funny and I caught them peeking through windows all day long so they wouldn’t miss a moment! Casey’s groomsmen surprised us by wearing matching Snow White themed “squad goals” shirts while they were getting ready – a trend that is typically reserved for the bridesmaid party, but was so funny on them.
The groomsmen and I bonded quickly over our mutual appreciation for old David Allen Coe songs and during the reception, they even invited me onto the dance floor with them during “You Never Even Called Me By My Name.” I love when bridal parties let us hang out with them and join in the fun!
Leah looked like a princess in her lace-adorned dress and cathedral veil and Casey was so happy in all of their photos. Beautiful, sweet couples, and laid back timelines are what wedding dreams are made of and this day had it all!
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers!
