I was super excited about Ashley and Kevin’s engagement session because I got to shoot in my own little town of Lawrenceville! This couple is all about local coffee shops and breweries and bringing community together over a good conversation and I loved getting a taste of that in our afternoon together. The light was so pretty and golden at the beginning of the shoot, so we immediately started exploring some of the gorgeous old houses on the outskirts of town and found the cutest back yard behind an abandoned house. Ashley and Kevin were naturals in front of the camera right off the bat. I realized why after noticing that Kevin was actually videoing the whole session on his own camera!

Kevin is an avid vlogger and their entire relationship is captured on his Youtube channel! I am just so impressed that he creates and posts a video every day, and was shocked at how subtle he was about the whole thing. I laughed when I saw the video he posted of our session because I didn’t even notice his camera on us most of the time! Evan and I can’t wait to photograph and film their Lawrenceville wedding this coming August! This couple is so sweet and fun and we know it will be a blast!
