Hannah and Matthew Efird are high school sweethearts who graduated from the University of Georgia not too long ago. I met them through the Baptist Collegiate Ministry in college and they are genuinely some of the most compassionate and loving people I know! Even in college, Hannah and Matt’s relationship stood out from all the rest – they had such a deep and steady love that we all knew would last a lifetime.

This couple has been praying for a child for over a year and a half and now this sweet little baby, Walker Gene, has joined them and deepened their love even more. Hannah told me as we sat in the nursery after the shoot that her and Matt’s relationship had already changed – but for the better. I barely had to instruct or “pose” this family at all – smiling at each other and cooing over their newborn child came perfectly natural to them. And we even managed to get some smiles (and lots of cuddles) from their golden-doodle, Fallon.
