If you have ever had a newborn session with me, then you have seen Brandt and Morgan Akin’s session with their firstborn son, Luke. It’s so hard to believe it has already been two years since the day those photographs were taken! Morgan and Brandt have welcomed another sweet little one into the world, William Isaac, and I was so thrilled when they asked me to come shoot with them again! Well, to be completely honest, I was intimidated – I don’t work with kids a whole lot, and though I do some newborn sessions here and there, I’ve never done one with a sibling involved! They assured me that their goal was to have a true lifestyle session that portrays the love and fun (and chaos) of their growing little family – and that’s exactly what we got!

I really did have the best time with them, cooing over sweet little sleeping Will and keeping the highly energetic and playful Luke entertained. Luke was so cute holding and kissing his little brother and he made sure I didn’t work too hard that afternoon by pulling me into the fun often.

I really do love this family so much and I am so blessed to be a small party of their lives. Congratulations, Morgan and Brandt, your family is so beautiful!!
