Christy and John are what we like to call “lifetime friends”. John and I met practically before we were born – our families grew up going to Salem Campmeeting together and Christy has fit in easily since she and John first met at a music festival six years ago. Christy and John couldn’t be more perfect for each other – their love for their pets, live music, the outdoors, and spending time with friends make them such a fun couple to be around and their wedding day was a perfect reflection of that!

It was a pleasant overcast day at The Farm in Rome, GA (every photographer’s dream). The Farm is a big, sprawling venue with pretty stone buildings and there were so many gorgeous backdrops to pick from. John and Christy shared their first look in front of an iron gate and then they let us wander into the fields for some romantic shots in the grass.

After the ceremony, Christy and John threw an amazing party for their friends and family, complete with dancing flip flops, sunglasses, and some of the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding! We pulled the bridal party out for a fun sparkler photo and the couple drove away in their old Chevy that John fixed up for the wedding. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Howington!! We love you!!
