Beth and Andrew are both UGA Alumni, and though they didn’t actually meet in school, share the common bond that is Athens. We had their engagement session while most students were gone for fall break, and it was so nice to have North Campus to ourselves!! Beth showed up in a beautiful blue dress that was a 10/10 on the twirling scale. (Tip: Flowy maxi dresses are GREAT for portrait photography!) I teased them about being the perfect match, since Andrew was coincidentally wearing matching blue shoelaces. Planned or unplanned, they looked stunning in front of the blue water of the fountain!

We meandered downtown for the second half of the session and I loved the blacks and grays they chose for their casual outfits, because they looked like they had just walked out of mine and Evan’s closet. (It’s hard to sport a colorful wardrobe as wedding photographers). We had fun chasing the sunset and dodging people and traffic – perfect practice for their upcoming Downtown Athens wedding!! I can’t wait to recreate some of these photos on their wedding day!!
