Darcie and Jonathan’s wedding day kicked off our fall wedding season and it made for a fun start! The Day Chapel at the Athens Botanical Garden set the stage for a rustic and laid back day complete with lots of vintage details, sunflowers, and cowboy boots.

The UGA alumni embraced the beginning of football season and included all things Georgia in their Athens wedding. Between the groomsmen details to the giant G on the roof of Barn on Belmont to the coolest grooms cake I’ve ever seen (scroll down to see it!), we felt right at home. I was only a little disappointment their custom UGA jerseys didn’t make an appearance (check out their engagement session if you missed them!)

More importantly, Darcie and Jonathan showed love for each other and for God who brought them together years ago while on a mission trip in Savannah, GA. I love that they are now beginning their life together in Savannah where it all began for them! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Wood, we are so excited to see what God has in store for you two!
