Two things that make me nervous: photographing a friend’s wedding and photographing another photographer’s wedding. Michele and Levi are both, but we were honored and grateful to capture their big day! Levi was Evan’s mentor through the Wesley Foundation at UGA, which is also where Levi met Michele! They both served as interns at Wesley in separate years and I was lucky enough to meet them in college at Oconee Heights Baptist Church. Michele is also a wedding photographer (check her out) in Athens and I was absolutely thrilled that she chose us to serve them!
Michele and Levi are fun loving and competitive – always good for a long laugh or a deep conversation. Their wedding in Americus – Michele’s hometown – was absolutely fitting for them. The whole day was laid back and beautiful, with lots of laughter and happy tears from their friends and family. My favorite part of their wedding was listening to the many heartfelt toasts given at the reception, celebrating the true depth of Michele and Levi’s love for Jesus and their friends. My second favorite part was stealing them from their reception for a few golden hour photos, which may just be my favorite wedding portraits ever! Congratulations, Levi and Michele, and thank you for your friendship!
