The first time I ever photographed Christina, she was the maid of honor in her best friend, Casey’s wedding. I kid you not, I remembered noticing her during the bridal portraits and thinking how beautiful and joyful she was. There’s always one or two bridesmaids (and groomsmen) that stand out to us at each wedding – they’re the ones that offer to help us, smile at us, and give it their best shot when we ask for the “fake laugh”. These girls always make my job more enjoyable, not just because they are helpful to me, but because I can see how much they love their friend, the bride, by the way they serve them on their big day.
Christina was one of these bridesmaids at Casey’s wedding, so you can imagine how thrilled I was when she emailed me about her own wedding to CJ. Evan and I were over the moon excited to photo and video this wedding after having coffee with them. This is one of the sweetest, kindest, and most perfect-for-each-other couples we’ve ever met. I’ve had a goofy smile plastered on my face all month as I’ve edited, because the sincere look of love on CJ’s face when he smiles at her is priceless!
They were highschool sweethearts, so it’s no wonder that no one can imagine them apart, and we are so excited for their future as husband and wife. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Hoag, thank you so much for choosing us to capture your wedding day!
