Crystal Petersen is a female entrepreneur who is killing it in the graphic design world! Her lettering and design work is stylish and sassy and everything we girl bosses need for our home and office. Crystal quickly won my allegiance with her new line of custom coffee mugs, The Ampersand Shop. Y’all know I’m a sucker for any coffee mug that speaks my language and she has plenty! She even sent me home with my favorite, “this is probably wine” mug and made me a custom designed mug that I’m in love with!

Hanging out with Crystal was a blast. Though we have never met, we are fellow UGA grads and members of the Rising Tide Society. We met up at the Mac Lab in Duluth, because we both loved the clean white design of it (#officegoals), and spent a couple of hours laughing and putting on a show for everyone enjoying a macaroon or two that day. In her session questionnaire Crystal wrote, “I may need a little direction as far as making myself look natural and comfortable – I actually chose you because from what I’ve seen of your work, this kind of thing is what you’re best at,” and that meant the WORLD to me! Y’all – photo shoots don’t have to be awkward or stuffy and I love when my clients trust me to draw out their personality!
