Jordan and Daniel are another special couple that we connected with through the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at UGA. I was blessed to know them both through mission trips and Ride for Christ during my college years, but I did not get the pleasure of knowing them as a couple until they chose us to photograph their wedding. After spending time with them together a few times throughout their engagement, it became clear that God has put them together with a great purpose to serve Him and love others with their marriage.

Jordan and Daniel wedding was at Beech Haven Baptist church, where they met for the first time. Daniel’s sister, Jessica, later set them up on a date to Jordan’s semi-formal and they hit it off well. In March of the next year, after going through the book “101 Questions to Ask Before You Get Engaged,” Daniel asked Jordan a 102nd question and she said “Yes”!

With the help of their wedding coordinator, Jennifer Walker, Jordan and Daniel planned a ceremony that allowed them to worship the Lord and remember Him as their first love. They sang with the congregation and prayed inside a “circle of fire,” made up of candles held by the guests to signify the unity of their marriage, as well as their friends and family as their accountability to stay strong in the Lord. It was a beautiful ceremony and we love how well it reflected the heart of this faithful couple!

They went on to deck the halls with Christmas spirit at their Thompson House reception. We loved how well they included Christmas colors and themes and enjoyed every moment of their wedding day, right up to the jingle bell exit! Congratulations, Jordan and Daniel, we look forward to watching God use your marriage to glorify Him!
