Johnson Family Photos | Fall Minis

Family, Portraits

November 8, 2016

I can’t post these pictures without taking a moment to say how grateful Evan and I are for this family. When we got married and moved to the Duluth area, we struggled to find a church that we were excited to call home. After about six months of visiting around, we found New City Church on Google. On our first visit, Pastor Ryan invited us over to his home and we had dinner with him and his wife, Megan. They asked us questions and told us their story of how and why they planted a church in Lawrenceville, GA. We could see in their eyes and hear in their voices the love they had for their church family and the devotion they felt towards discipleship. We knew we wanted to be a part of that and New City church has changed our lives tremendously in the year since.

Evan and I have since joined discipleship groups led by Megan and Ryan and are so grateful for the time they spend pouring into us individually and our groups. They have had a difficult few months- Megan recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis- and their faithful response has been encouraging and challenging to us and our church family. Megan has responded with a level of transparency, faith and grace that amazes me and I am so blessed to have her godly influence in my life!

We were flattered that the Johnsons hired us take fall photos of them and their four precious children – it was so fun to capture each of their unique personalities and show the joy that this family has in the Lord! We love y’all!
