Well, I’ve made it to the airport and we are sitting in the terminal. I’ve packed everything that I think I might possibly need for a week in the jungle (I realized I’ve never even been legit camping in my life, so idk how accurate I was)…except I realized when I got here that I left my pillow. But I suppose I’d rather leave my pillow than my food, so so far so good. And I brought my notebook and pen ready for some good old-fashioned journaling. I can’t wait to get back and write about-hopefully there will be some good stories to tell.
As of right now, I still have no earthly idea what we’re actually going to be doing while were down there all week, but I’m hoping that in whatever we do we can be helpful.
Ahh, they’re calling zones now for out tiny airplane.
